Terms of Service

Effective May 18, 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Vendable (operated by Martell Ventures, “we”, “us”, “Vendable”), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. What Vendable Does

Vendable is an AI-search optimization platform. We use artificial intelligence (Claude, etc.) to generate written content about your business - profile pages, press releases, blog spotlights, and structured data - and publish it on Vendable's domain (app.getvendable.ai). We optimize these pages to be discoverable by AI search engines like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini.

3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Important: Content on Vendable is generated by AI based on publicly available information about your business. While we run automated fact-checking (the “Verifier”) on all content before it goes public, AI-generated content can contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing the content we publish about your business and notifying us of any errors.

You can pause your entire Vendable presence at any time from your dashboard with one click. We'll respond to correction requests within 72 hours.

4. Your Authorization

By signing up, you authorize Vendable to:

Scrape your business website to extract publicly available information
Generate AI-written content about your business using that information
Publish that content on app.getvendable.ai
Submit your URLs to AI search engines and traditional search engines (IndexNow, Bing, Google)
Archive your content on the Wayback Machine and similar public archives
Distribute optional press releases to news wire services only when you explicitly opt in
Monitor public sources (Bing, Claude web search) for citations of your business

5. Your Warranties

You represent that:

You are authorized to represent the business you submit (you own it, work there, or have explicit permission)
The business URL you submit is your own or one you're authorized to promote
Publishing public information about that business does not violate any third-party rights

You indemnify Vendable against any third-party claims arising from your breach of these warranties.

6. Liability Limits

Vendable is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you under any claim is limited to the fees you've paid us in the prior 12 months (or $100 if no fees have been paid).

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, or reputational harm - even if we were advised such damages were possible.

7. Data and Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms. We use third-party processors (Anthropic, Supabase, Resend, Vercel) under standard data-processing agreements.

8. Removal & Deletion

You can pause your Vendable presence from your dashboard at any time (immediate noindex + sitemap removal). To permanently delete your account and all generated content, email mia@getvendable.ai - we delete within 30 days.

Non-customer businesses appearing on Vendable can request removal at mia@getvendable.ai.

9. Acceptable Use

You will not: use Vendable to publish content that violates law or third-party rights; submit URLs you don't have authority over; attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or circumvent Vendable's systems; use Vendable to defame competitors.

10. Termination

Either party can terminate at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms. On termination, we delete your account data per Section 8.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Brunswick, Canada (where Martell Ventures is based). Disputes will be resolved in the courts of New Brunswick.
